The short version
Poser is an application produced by Curious Labs. A full featured 3D posing and texturing environment allowing users to create both still art and 3D animation. The latest version is Poser 7.
The BE Version
With the advent of Maya Doll, DAZ’s Victoria, the GIRL, and many other publicly available female figures, many poser artists are able to create extremely busty female figures with a few mouse clicks. (DAZ’s V3 has over 15 breast morphs for size, shape, cleavage, etc).
The Future: DAZ Productions has released a free competitor to Poser: DAZ|Studio, along with their most popular characters V3, Aiko3, and Sarah2, there seems to be even less barrier to artists to enter the realm of 3D BE!
