Essential BE

An introductory guide to BE stories and writers

As time marches on, the BE community accumulates more and more content. This is a brief guide to try and encapsulate the “essentials” of BE stories. In the interests of diversity, all authors have been limited to a maximum of three entries.

Addiction by Fret Pearson

  • Summary: Chewing gum can do strange things to a girl... like make her horny and buxom.
  • Analysis: There is an effortless sexiness to this story. Every moment is just dripping with it. There are so many moments where the details just make you feel like a voyeur watching events unfold. Describing it isn’t really possible it – reading it is a necessity.

BE-Coli by Chimerian

  • Summary: A contagious BE virus gets loose and some girls just can’t get enough.
  • Analysis: One of the quintessential contagious BE stories, this story covers the release and effects of a virus that spreads across most of North America. It does a good job of giving both an overall sense of the effects of the plague, while concentrating specifically on a girl who perhaps gets a little bit too excited by the effects of the growth.

Bra Busters: Twin Power by Kyle Johnson

  • Summary: The Bra Busters – a group of school girls who gained powers and tits from magic bras – find themselves helping a pair of twins in order to defeat an evil sorceress.
  • Analysis: This is the fourth and best of the Bra Buster stories. Probably one of the best superpowered BE stories. A nice straight forward story, combined with genuinely enjoyable superhero type action and interesting characters. The addition of three new characters to the basic mix is achieved easily and there’s a playful energy to the story – although there are serious moments too – it’s just a shame that it was the last one.

Building Brand by Mighty Lingster

  • Summary Sometimes not following the recommended guidelines on magical cream can lead to wonderful things.
  • Analysis: For those that enjoy BE and FMG – this is a great piece and contains several dedicated scenes that are all extremely well-written and thought through. It’s also not shy with a few jibes at the general clichés of the genre but it’s all good clean fun for anyone that likes Amazons and big boobs.

Compounding Interest by Hunter S. Creek

  • Summary: The recounting of a tale of young love between a neglectful boy and a rather underdeveloped girl and how their love – and she – grows.
  • Analysis: The word instant classic isn’t one that is used too much when it comes to BE stories… possibly because there aren’t many but if ever a story deserved the honour of such a title, it’s this one. This story builds up a sense of anticipation extremely effectively, the perspective of the narrative is fantastic. Although the story runs to over one hundred pages, it just seems to flyby and at the end you might well still be hungry for more. The real key to the story is the first person recollection of events, it’s so perfect you might as well be reading an actual diary. I truly struggle to think of any area in which this story is lacking. It’s the perfect slow BE/Amazon story and it’s just… fantastic.

Cori’s Mistake 2: Electric Boogaloo by Eliot Cayne

  • Summary: A ditzy witch manages to accidentally lose a BE glyph which finds its way into the unwitting hands of a gym instructor.
  • Analysis: Porn stories should never be too serious… this one rejoices in an innocent whimsy. The characters are endearing and the plot suitably amusing. There are some nice BE scenes in here too and it’s just a great fun story.

Cost Of Compunction by Blake Isaac Gordon

  • Summary: Instead of wishing for a killer body, a downtrodden student just wishes everyone would be nice to her...
  • Analysis: This is quite a sweet tale of student love, life and breast growth. It’s another quite touching and ultimately sweet story about how our heroine manages to turn the table on her tormentors. Her roommate is enjoyable... in fact, all the characters are quite interesting and believable.

Dr. Hooters by Various Authors

  • Summary: A scientist creates a drug that augments intelligence… and breast size begins a chain of events that encompass and transform dozens of men and women.
  • Analysis: Most BE veterans eyes’ will light up with nostalgia when this story is mentioned. For many of the 1st and 2nd generation of BE fans, this was the first story they read. Running to almost fifty chapters – though still unfinished – it goes without saying it’s something of an epic. Indeed from one initial case of BE, there are eventually dozens of women subject to BE. It contains some fantastic and wonderful BE scenes which are still great. Marijuana induced breasts growth… ah, that was a classic and plenty more. Not just that there’s a giantess, a bunch of AP and lots of lactation and sex. Sadly, things the way they are it’s been forgotten…it may be a bit dated by today’s standards but this is something of a Holy Grail of BE and who knows, one day it might even be finished. This is definitely a story to check out though.

Dr. Jonquil’s Tincture 1) by Derob Jacob

  • Summary: A female professor uses a potion to unleash her sexual side.
  • Analysis: The simplest description of this story is – a sexy Jekyll and Hyde. This a classic story of science run amuck – with sexy consequences. The characterisation of both personas is great and there is some real dramatic tension in the story along with several very detailed sex scenes. All in all, it’s just a real pleasure to read.

FBEI Files: The Chimerian Effect by Chimerian

  • Summary: A pair of FBI agents devoted to tracking down illegal BE find themselves meeting up with several altered people and being drawn into the mother of all conspiracies.
  • Analysis: Over the years Chimerian has written several stories. This is his attempt to bring them all together… and he does an extremely good job of joining what originally seemed like fairly unrelated stories. This is a fairly epic tale that manages to touch on conspiracy, aliens and enormous growing breasts. The characters and plot elements from the other stories all slot together so perfectly it’s as if this story was always intended to be written. The plot itself is very engaging, balancing sex/transformation/explosions and aliens in a skilful fashion so that, despite the length of this story, you’ll be eager to finish it all in one sitting.

Growing Like A Weed by Mr. B

  • Summary: A girl finds herself wondering about herself when it seems her breasts seem to grow in the sunlight.
  • Analysis: This is a rather original story featuring a girl who has some issues with her breasts - namely that they seem to grow an awful lot. The story has an interesting mystery element to it in that it’s quite some time into the story before we discover why it’s happening. The story itself is well written and the characters react well to the situation. It’s an original concept that is played out very well.

H-Force by Various

  • Summary: Imbued with powers from magical gems a group of friends fight off various evils – all the while coping with a variety of transformations, sexual encounters and of course H-cup breasts.
  • Analysis: One of the longer and more coherent continuous stories this has a little bit of something for everyone and there’s never a dull moment. The quality of writing and plot isn’t quite what you would get from a single coherent story but rather a mishmash of different styles and ideas. What it lacks in cogency, it makes up for in raw enthusiasm and craziness.

Melissa 2.0, 3.0, and 4.0 2) by Derob Jacobs

  • Summary: A student decides nanobots can do more than just help people - they can make them better.
  • Analysis: In some stories, nanobots become a rather... predictable plot device doing exactly what is wanted. It’s spoiling nothing to say that this story has misbehaving nanobots. First person narration for a female character is quite uncommon in BE and it’s even MORE uncommon for it to actually be credible. Yet here it’s hard to imagine it working any other way. It’s a long story... but in the end, it almost feels like a novel. A good novel - there is action and adventure to balance out the several equisite growth scenes... Excellent stuff.

Mindtrip by Chimerian

  • Summary: Finding some mushrooms a girl thinks they’re making her delusional... but are the things she sees... more substantial?
  • Analysis: Initially this story might seem a bit confusing... but that’s part of the charm and a function of the main characters own inability to distinguish fantasy from reality. The main character herself is particularly interested in large breasts and so the events of the story are mainly desired by her. All in all, it’s another must.

Mystery At The BE Inn by Eliot Cayne

  • Summary: Whodunnit – BE style
  • Analysis: One of the very few BE mystery stories – this story manages to skilfully walk the line between an actual mystery story, part comedy and naturally breast expansion. So a bit of something for everyone. The private detective and his artificially intelligent companion are very enjoyable

Obsession by Fret Pearson

  • Summary: A girl finds herself becoming obsessed with breasts... when she is granted three wishes...
  • Analysis: The wish story is older than BE... but this story manages to be fresh and interesting. The female angle helps greatly as the vast majority of wish stories are based upon a male point of view. Expect a great deal of sexiness.

Playing With A Full Deck by Clovis

  • Summary: Magical playing cards, beating bodily assets and a game of poker on the full moon. What could possibly go wrong for this young group of girls?
  • Analysis: “Thief” stories – that is, stories where attributes are stolen from another person and given to another – are one of the more hit and miss type of stories… but this one is seemingly a universal favourite among those who have read it – and for good cause. It actually examines the way a girl’s body affects her self-image and manages to get an excitement for the now overly sexualised game. The reactions of the girls involved are particularly enjoyable too – from initial changes all the way up to the final hand.

Slumber Party by Fret Pearson

  • Summary: A wish rock and some sceptical teenage girls with loose mouths… sexy results ensue.
  • Analysis: Although short, this story manages to impart a great deal of character in a very short space of time. This combined with the variety of slightly more uncommon transformations and the inherent sensuality of the entire story make it a pure classic.

Something In The Water by Al The Editor aka Some Sort of Dog aka Axotol

  • Summary: Coffee, water additives... they lead to breasts growing, don’t you know?
  • Analysis: There is little to say of this story. It’s an enjoyable yarn and was one of the earliest tales of merit. It contains everything you’d expect but it’s just... good.

Sorcerer’s Book by Eliot Cayne

  • Summary: An apprentice sorceress and her boyfriend run into trouble with an avatar of lust while her master is away – sexiness ensues.
  • Analysis: This story has pretty much everything. A whole bunch of transformations, an avatar of lust, plenty of sex and the rather naughty catgirl avatar of Lust, who is quite intent on having fun - despite what she’s told. It’s a story that manages to aptly capture the essence of sexy transformations and the main character particularly fits the roll rather well. It’s a rare combination of playful and sexy fun, all wrapped together in a well written story.

St. Cats by Al The Editor aka Some Sort of Dog aka Axotol

  • Summary: The trials and tribulations of an English all-girl boarding school where breast growth becomes
  • Analysis: St. Cats is almost certainly the longest story series in BE surely running to thousands of pages of antics… The quality drops off severely after the first few instalments as it becomes involved in self-referential and self-aware jokes but the initial chapters compromise several enjoyable sex scenes and a good load of BE, slow and fast. It’s all rather well written too but you need to be aware that if you feel the story is starting to become rather too… verbose, that it’s best to cut your loses. The number of people that have read every St. Cats story from start to finish are likely countable on the fingers of one hand.

Thinking Of You by Blake Isaac Gordon

  • Summary: Two desperate housewives ask to find out how often their spouses think of them...
  • Analysis: Another gentle romantic story but this time with an element of competitive growth that makes it all the more interesting. Combined with the conspiracy of the two wives to bamboozle their husbands as to exactly why they’re growing. Just a generally enjoyable tale.

Timothy Doogan’s Little Sister by Hunter S. Creek

  • Summary: The development of a growth formula leads to a little sister not being so little anymore...
  • Analysis: An excellent story of girls growing. The narrative of this story has an amusing quirk - in that Timothy Doogan’s Little Sister is never referred to by name, usually just that moniker. The basic plot - growth formula is developed, growth formula is used on girl, girl grows - isn’t exactly innovative but as with most BE stories, it’s more a case of execution than idea and this story is excellently executed. Characters all play our realistically, there is a nice element of romance, exploitation, competitive growth (somewhat) and it all fits together in a satisfying aspect with some lovely growth scenes. The kind of story one could read again and again.

Time Machine by Noble Sword, illustrated by Crimson Jassic

  • Summary: A man uses a time machine in an attempt to change his wife, by playing with historical genes.
  • Analysis: A moderate work rewritten with a few pictures in PDF format.
